I would like to take a moment of your time to let you know about the services and experience of Jepson Mold Design. With more than 40 years of involvement in the injection mold industry I am uniquely capable of understanding your mold design needs and can offer you the best combination of quality, economy and longevity to meet or exceed your requirements.

Allow me a moment to quickly summarize my experience.

• I started my career as a tool & die apprentice developing my mechanical ability and applying it to the tool & die trade.

• I completed my apprenticeship and then worked for 6 years as a project leader and master tool maker supervising a team of tool makers to complete mold builds for medical and electrical connector parts.

• I entered the injection molding business as a plant manager for a local injection molding company specializing in close tolerance, high volume molding to immerse myself in the molding side of the business.

• I started and ran Jepson Precision Tool, of which I was president, mold designer, tool maker, sales representative and all other managerial functions. I had a staff of 30 tool and die makers and we specialized in molds for electronic, medical and consumer products markets from MUD units to high cavitation production molds.

• After closing Jepson Tool, I opened BMS Company starting off as a sales rep for other manufacturers but gradually migrating back to my roots as mold designer and tool maker building prototype or low cavitation production tools, spare tooling and doing repair work.

• Now scaling back the chip making side of BMS and relaunching as JMD&PD in order to offer customers top quality mold designs, product development and additional services like 3D printing and laser engraving.

I use Solidworks2021 and Autodesk Fusion 360 for design, FEA analysis and product development. I offer engineering design changes, full mold designs, part modeling and 3D SLA or FDM printing and my years of experience to help bring your mold design or product idea to fruition.
